Toyota Gazoo Racing will exhibit at FUJI 86/BRZ STYLE 2026, the 86 and BRZ gathering at Fuji Speedway on Saturday, September 12 — and for the heritage crowd, the GR booth is the story: reborn 4A-GE engine parts for the AE86, and a prototype reproduction dashboard for the A80 Supra.
What the GR Heritage Parts project is showing
The centerpiece is the AE86's twin-cam heart. Reproduction 4A-GE cylinder heads and cylinder blocks — the parts announced under the GR Heritage Parts project — are currently taking orders, and they will be on display at the booth. Alongside them, Toyota is showing more AE86 parts planned for release this fiscal year in prototype form, including an oil pan baffle plate.
The A80 Supra item may attract the most attention among restorers: a prototype of a reproduction instrument panel. Original dashboards are increasingly difficult to source in good condition, as decades of heat and ultraviolet exposure leave them cracked or warped. Toyota says the A80 dashboard is scheduled to go on sale during the current fiscal year, though pricing has not been announced — a factory-backed reproduction that could remove a significant obstacle for owners restoring one of these cars.
The rest of the day
The on-track program leans into Toyota's drift-flavored marketing: a demonstration recreating the drift scenes from "THE FR." and exhibition runs by Formula Drift Japan drivers. Visitors can also try comparison drives of the GR86 with and without the GR86 Performance Software upgrade, plus a skidpad drift experience. Advance reservations are required for the GR Driving Experience program, and Toyota recommends booking the comparison drives ahead of time as well, though a limited number of same-day slots may be available.
