A Ralliart-liveried Mitsubishi Pajero was displayed alongside the AXCR-winning Triton at the new SUV's world premiere, according to Motor Fan — a show car, with any rally entry still under consideration. Separately, Mitsubishi has opened a public preview of the new Pajero at its Tokyo headquarters showroom.

Motor Fan reports that the world-premiere venue also held a Pajero in full Ralliart livery: overfenders covering 285/60R18 Yokohama Geolandar X-AT all-terrain tires on 18-inch Work CRAG T-GRABIC wheels, red underbody garnishes and skid plates, and a snorkel. Mitsubishi's positioning, per the report, is careful — it is a reference exhibit built on the production model, a show car, not a machine optimized for competition.
The placement did the talking anyway: it stood next to the Triton that won this year's Asia Cross-Country Rally. Motor Fan quotes a Team Mitsubishi Ralliart driver as saying the Pajero's wheelbase is 260 mm shorter than the Triton's. Team director Hiroshi Masuoka has already voiced his ambition to chase a third straight title with the new Pajero; an entry remains under evaluation, with nothing announced.
The Tamachi preview display
Separately, a public display opened September 5 at Mitsubishi's headquarters showroom in Tamachi, Tokyo (msb Tamachi Station Tower), no reservation needed, though busy periods may mean a wait. The showroom is displaying a Thai-market reference vehicle whose specifications differ in part from the eventual Japanese-market cars, and visitors cannot obtain a quotation or place a preorder there. An end date has not been published.
